“My husband and I found Connecting with K9s after our mastiff/shepherd mix Hurley began showing signs of fear aggression and anxiety, especially with strangers. It had come to the point we stopped having people in our home. Although we had tried to extensively educate ourselves about the pack mentality and dog psychology, we were obviously missing something. Darla proved to be a true gift to our family! Darla not only is here to train and rehabilitate dogs, but to do the same with their owners.
She gives YOU the tools to work with your dog beyond her time with you, so you both can truly make a lifetime change. One session with Darla and we were left feeling empowered and refreshed knowing she had demonstrated to us how to be the pack leaders Hurley so desperately needed. Darla has since checked in with us numerous times, always available to lend advice and answer any questions we may have. Hurley has made huge strides in his rehabilitation thanks to the tips and tools given to us by Darla. We still have a long road ahead of us, but we know we have someone truly wonderful to help us along our journey. She truly is Oregon’s Dog Whisperer!”
~Rest in peace, Hurley… you will be missed! ~Darla
